This work analyzes the forms of attention that we can observe in the experience of young people who participate in digital game workshops in a Psychosocial Care Center in Mossoró/RN. It presents the digital game as a potentiating experience of cognitive and affective transformations in the journey of young people in situations of psychological suffering. The objective of the research was to analyze the ways of functioning of the processes of attention in the experience of young players. The methodology used was a research-intervention, using games workshops as a means. The cartography method allowed the analysis of the interactions in different moments of the experience. As results, we learned that distraction is an important process in learning. Dispersion can be creative, favouring an experience of exploration of elements present in the games. Attention wanders and searches where to land. Focus and concentration happen in the players' immersion in the game phases. Attention is not presented as something possessed or not, but as a cognitive process in movement of transformation.
