Autorenporträt
Alvina Foo is a mother of two and is a pharmacist working in her local community. She is a passionate advocate for healthy living. The book came about after her son volunteered her to give a talk to his class about "Healthy Eating". She wondered how she could engage a large class of seven and eight year olds. So Alvina started drawing comics on A4 sheets and presented them to the pupils. The response was incredible, the children were extremely receptive and their little hands kept popping up to ask questions! Encouraged by the response, Alvina was inspired to translate this into book form. She has always been a believer of teaching children from a young age about healthy choices, in the hope that they continue with those choices into adulthood.
