Yvonne Lim is a Singaporean actress who has starred in many drama serials on MediaCorp Channel 8 since 1997. Lim was the first runner-up in the Singapore Polytechnic Beauty Quest and a finalist with Go Magazine''s Cover Girl Contest before she joined Star Search in 1997. She was offered a full-time artiste contract with MediaCorp Studios and was given the lead role in her debut TV drama, Starting Point, where she played a young entrepreneur, which was well received by audiences. Her performance were recognised when she was voted as one of the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes in the Star Awards 1998. She also recorded and released a solo Mandarin album in the year 2000. In 2002, she also teamed up with Hong Kong ATV station in a 30-part courtroom drama Innocently Guilty, also starring Anita Yuen, Kent Cheng and Felix Wong.
