Jem Packer brings a distinctive humour, style and and imagination to both fiction and non-fiction. The popular cartoon strip It's Grim up North London, created with Duncan McCoshan, first appeared in Private Eye in 1999 and they have made regular contributions to Guardian Education, BBC History Magazine and The Times. Jem also works as a comedy writer for television and radio and can regularly be heard on BBC Radio and LBC. He lives in London.
