Prue Mason is the author of Camel Rider and lived in the Gulf region of the Middle East for 12 years where she worked for children's newspaper Young Times. Lyn White is an editor and teacher. Her work with refugee and migrant children motivated her to create a series that spoke of their experiences, and led to the Through My Eyes series.
