This book was written by Tierney Bourage. She is a Memphis native. She began her writing journey as a hobby At the age of 14, she started with writing poems. After she survived a lightning strike in 2010, God told her to write a children's book that teaches a lesson to young girls. This is how Zariyah the butterfly came to be.
