In 2020, rising Summit High School senior Dennis Eaves from Arlington, Texas - along with the rest of the world - had his world turned upside down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Having long considered writing a book, he decided to take advantage of the time. He sat down at his computer and began writing. Not knowing where it would lead or how his story would unfold, his disciple and persistence finally paid off when Lea Street Press, LLC published his first book, Zax and the Three Beasts in January of 2021. With the publication of his second book, Zax and Dax, on November 11, 2022, Dennis has definitely made his mark in the sci-fi/fantasy/superhero genre as a young, up-and-coming author to follow. He is currently working on book three of his trilogy. But Dennis's artistry goes beyond writing. He is also a talented artist who creates and digitally designs all his book covers and is hands-on in the upcoming production of his audiobooks. When not working on his books, attending college classes, or working at Caswell Pines Golf Course, Dennis volunteers at the Gunn Memorial Library. There he teaches Japanese calligraphy and hosts an Anime Club he established.
