Thomas van Oostrum grew up in The Hague, but he’s been living in rural Rijssen, The Netherlands, for quite some time now. He started making comics at an early age. When his school newspaper let him share them with the world, it made him want to create even more. In 2007, his adventure as an author and illustrator of picture books began. Thomas has also written several school musicals, combining his love of stories, humor, and characters with his other passion: music. He fondly remembers his own elementary school days as a time of wonder, fun, and unlimited possibilities, so Thomas hopes to pass some of that on to today’s children through his creations.
