"Three years ago Volodymyr Zelenskyy swept Ukraine's presidential election as the only candidate whose only political experience had been on the small screen. During the three seasons of the series The People's Servant, this charismatic actor played the role of a high school History teacher who, by a series of coincidences, ends up becoming the country's president. Ever since his election, the public has been able to discover a political figure with many edges. We have discovered a man risen to power with the help of some of the most powerful oligarchs in the country. A politician who has not been able to escape suspicions of nepotism or corruption cases and scandals around him. But, since February 2022, we have discovered a man who did not tremble in accepting Putin's challenge and who became the leader of the popular resistance to Russian aggression. A man who became the president who has managed to unite in this fight both supporters and opponents, the corrupt and anti-corruption bodies, adults and children, people of different nationalities and religions. He has become a head of state being received with applause in European parliaments and in the US Congress. Journalist Serhiy Rudenko turns each episode of the sixth Ukrainian president life¿s into a piece of the puzzle that makes up the portrait of Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A man who promised Ukrainians to change the country in which they lived despite lacking political experience or knowledge of state affairs. A man once trusted by 13.5 million voters." --
