The purpose of this book is not to teach set movements. It is to introduce you to the practice of zhan zhuang as a method for accessing your own innate knowing so that you are not dependent upon me or any external teacher for your learning. It is about supporting you in experiencing your own original genius and expressing it in whatever form you choose.

Autorenporträt
Mark Stempel began his Aikido training in 1981. Yet, after thirty three years of training, he still had not found the transformation he was looking for. This led him on a journey to understand yin and yang within his own body. His quest led him to cross paths with a Taiji and Yiquan master who had been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer. Through his own nei-gong practice, his teacher's cancer went into remission and he was able to enjoy teaching for another five years, long enough to share the essence of his art. Before his teacher passed away in 2019, Mark promised to share the essence of the art that his teacher so generously shared with him. Learn more at movementinstillness.com
