Moonbeam Children's Book Awards Best Nonfiction Book Series Inspire curiosity and confidence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with this award-winning kid's book series that disrupts the status quo and invites everyone into the unbelievably fun world of STEM. When girls can see it, they can be it! This best-selling chapter book series smashes gender barriers, celebrates diversity, and launches the next generation of leaders with some serious girl power. The Look Up Series introduces kids to real, modern career women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math-impressive fields that tackle the world's most important problems yet sorely lack female representation and diversity. In the second book in the series, kids meet and befriend Zi, a real-life video game developer who gets to play video games every day-it's her job! Readers follow Zi's journey from curious kid to confident grown-up, complete STEM activities like how to concept their very own game idea, learn how code is used to move video game characters, and more. Collect all five STEM/STEAM favorites in The Look Up Series from award-winning American Girl author Aubre Andrus: Amanda, Toy Engineer Zi, Video Game Developer Dr. Maya, Ice Cream Scientist Angella, Beauty Chemist Tracey, Theme Park Designer
