Autorenporträt
Kelley is from the San Francisco Bay Area and now lives in the Colombia River Gorge in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has been featured at Juried Shows, Sonoma State University, City Art Gallery in San Francisco, Galbreath Preserve in Sonoma, San Francisco's Charles Schwab and The Frame Gallery in Hood River, Oregon. She is also a member of the Graphic Arts Workshop Studio for printmaking. When Kelley is not in the studio creating art or writing a story, you can find her hiking with her toy poodle, PennyLane, listening to 1960's and 1970's records, watching Curb Your Enthusiasm, and summer fishing in Alaska. Kelley would like to thank Ray Renati for taking photographs of her art. She would also like to dedicate this book to her family, friends and you for being apart of reading her story. Explore Kelley's art at KelleyMichelucciart.com. Do not hesitate to contact Kelley with any book or art inquires at kelley@kelleymichelucci.com As a young lad in the 1960's, Ray ran around his grandmother's house with an old Brownie camera - a brown box with a lens, pretending to take photos of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings. He still has that camera and for years he has been meaning to see if he can make it work again. Ten years later Ray saved up his money and bought his first Nikon. Since that day; people, art, nature, light, shadow and the exceptional moment in time have always intrigued him. Ray's deep desire to capture that which will never be repeated has driven him artistically for many years. It's why he is passionate about photography, theatre, and storytelling. It's been a real treat to be apart of this project, a story told through Kelley's wonderful images and words.
