Migration is the movement of both resources and people (human capital resources); promoting the processes of globalisation. Migration can be domestic and international. Domestic migration is the movement of people from one place to another within the same country, whereas international migration involves moving from one country to another or from one continent to the other. In this study, the thrust of the synthesis would be concentrated on international migration and the related businesses (the diasporic business communities) thereof. The dynamics of migration are facilitated by the emigrants (those who go out of the country) and immigrants (those who move into the country). This book captures a detailed exposition of the contributions of the engagement of the Zimbabwean Diasporic SMMEs (ZDSMMEs) as Economic Development Partners in South Africa.
