Autorenporträt
Brittany D. Eaton is a true believer in the power of words and creative expression. It has been her lifelong dream to one day become a successful writer and entrepreneur. With her self-published debut of Zippy The Zebra Earns His Stripes, her first children's book of many, she has put herself one step closer to accomplishing this dream. After graduating from Queens University of Charlotte with a master's degree in creative writing, Brittany spent time in North Carolina working in a portrait studio to earn a living. What began in props and set design turned into a strong interest in the art of photography. After several months of training she became a professional photographer specializing in children's portraiture. It was in this field, capturing the various stages of a child's life that Brittany realized the importance of influence on today's youth. She became inspired to use her degree and her love of creative expression to write children's books that instill virtue and encourage young readers everywhere to have positive thoughts, feelings and attitudes. Today, Brittany resides in the state of Ohio, home to her original birthplace. She spends her time balancing between a successful career in sales and pursuing her passion for writing. Her current projects involve a chapter book series for young readers, as well as a second children's book that borrows characters from her debut release, Zippy The Zebra Earns His Stripes.
