Be a Disciple. Make Disciples. Zúme training is for everyone who wants to obey Jesus and make disciples. This book coaches you on the basic inward and outward life of an ordinary follower of Jesus, so that you can bear fruit as Jesus desires for all those who follow him: "I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last" (John 15:16). The training is organized into 10 two-hour sessions and is best done in groups of four to twelve people. For more than thirty years, the principles and skills in Zúme training have been unlocking believers for more fruitful lives. These principles have proven that ordinary disciples living out immediate, radical, and costly obedience to Jesus can have a big impact-even to the point of catalyzing disciple-making movements. "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a woman who took zúme [yeast] and mixed it into a large amount of flour until it was all leavened" (Matt 13:33).
Autorenporträt
Zúme is a community of practice for those who want to see disciple-making movements. We have no building, no staff, no budgets, no programs. So, what's left? We are a band of brothers and sisters being transformed by God through loving God and loving others. Inwardly, we want Jesus-to know him and be fully known by him. Outwardly, we want to see spiritual families give birth to more spiritual families in every neighborhood in every city. In practice, we want to think differently about making disciples who make disciples. We seek to prioritize Jesus' ways, doing the things he did in the ways he did them.
