Zoltan Paulinyi (Born in the USA from parents of Hungarian origin, as Zoltán Paulínyi Körmendy, in 1977, and in 1981 was moved to Belo Horizonte - Brazil), Brazilian composer, modern and baroque violinist, one of the founders of Musicoop String Orchestra (1995). After undergraduating in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1999), he started to dedicate his life to music, both in performance and teaching. He moved to Brasília in 2000 in order to assume his first violin position[1] in the National Symphony Orchestra (OSTNCS), where he started to compose his major works. He has played as soloist since 1987, aged 10, and as spalla in Festival Orchestras of Brasília (1998) and Juiz de Fora (1996). Founder of many chamber groups, including Duo Magyar (1994), Quinteto Amizade (2003), Grupo Sonare (2005) and Grupo SPES (2006). With SPES, he produced a turné in Europe in 2008, premiering his piano trio in Béjar, Madrid, Paris, Budapest and London.
