It was edited in-camera, that is without the use of any external editing systems or programs whatsoever. It is recognized as the first zombie film to emerge from Ireland. Currently it is only available from the Midnight Pictures website on DVD-R.The term Zombie Genocide has also been used as a Gamerscore for lames achievement on both Xbox Live and Windows Live for both the video game Dead Rising which is only playable on the Xbox 360, and Left 4 Dead which is playable on both Xbox Live and Windows Live. Both games involve surviving a zombie infestation, albeit, in their own respective ways. The achievements for both games can be unlocked after killing 50,000+ zombies within each respective game. Whether the name of this achievement is a homage to the film or simple coincidence is unknown.
