This book includes everything written by the writer Sati' Al-Husri about the introduction to Ibn Khaldun, whether published in the years 1943 or 1944 or unpublished. Although there are many studies on this subject, the writer believes that the research and studies published on Ibn Khaldun in the Arabic language are very few. , compared to what was published in other languages, and there are quite a few of these foreign studies that have not yet been translated into Arabic, and the eastern editions of them are incomplete in terms of texts and chapters, in addition to being marred by typographical errors. The author of the introduction was known by the nickname "Ibn Khaldun", after the name of one of his ancient grandfathers. Ibn Khaldun was interested in many fields, including administration and politics, rhetoric and judiciary, study and research, teaching and writing, and the only book of his works that has reached us is the book of history, which he called " The Book of Lessons and the Diwan of the Beginner and the News in the Days of the Arabs, Persians, Berbers, and Those Who Contemporarily Have the Greatest Sultan," and he divided it into three books. The book that is now known as "Ibn Khaldun's Introduction" is the "Introduction and First Book" of the Book of Lessons.
