The history of Iraq went through between (1900-1950), which is truly considered a major fundamental period in the life of the Iraqi people, especially in the wake of the end of the Ottoman era, the establishment of the independent state, the circumstances of the World War, and the emergence of parliamentary activity in the country. The author of the book is one of the officers of the British campaign that occupied Iraq during the war. He spent sixteen years in the country, which enabled him to write correct and accurate analyzes that give the book great value and not insignificant importance to thorny and complex events.
