Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov is a classic of world literature. His works have been translated into more than 100 languages, and the plays "Seagull", "Three Sisters" and "Cherry Orchard" have been staged in many theaters for more than a century. Chekhov passed away early, but in 25 years of creative activity he created more than 300 works of various genres - from short humorous stories to serious stories and plays. The writer's artistic discoveries had a huge impact on literature and theater, and his drama became a "business card" of Russian literature in the world.
