Kara-Bugaz is a bay on the shores of the Caspian Sea. This name, translated from Turkmen, sounds like "black mouth". A tough, God-forgotten place on earth, where it is difficult to live even for Turkmens accustomed to adversity, but unusually rich in its minerals. Here, in hot Turkmenistan, the writer Konstantin Paustovsky paved his way. In order to later write a fascinating book, which is called "Kara-Bugaz".
