Dr Tiija Rinta has worked as a music teacher for the past 15 years, most recently getting involved in various teacher training projects in the UK and Uganda. Her main instruments are tuned percussion instruments and, after seeing the lack of books for learning to play the xylophone, she decided to write the current book.
