Ben Thieu Long is a pseudonym to protect privacy for the author and others in his memoir of military service in Vietnam. Ben was drafted into the US Army in 1969 and served an extended tour of thirteen months. Committed to his values and faith, he accepted those circumstances as his duty to God and Country. Retired after a forty-year career in Human Resources, he was an educator with a lifelong commitment to helping others overcome challenges encountered along the road of life. Although people couldn't always choose their path and thereby made poor choices, Ben believed the lessons from these experiences provided wisdom for achieving future success.Lessons learned from his military experience became the cornerstone for his resilience and effectiveness in leading organizational change and coaching individuals to navigate difficult circumstances and rebound as stronger people.
