This is a how to book. Or a how not to book. Or how to with the peace and release of laughter. It is simply how one husband and wife lived through two sets of twins and two singles in 8 years. It is for you, the busy mom or dad or grannie who was roped in to spending the day with the grans. Let there be laughter. And let there be a pen to record it! It is written so that the busy caregiver can swap 5 minutes of her day to read and laugh at one of the misadventures, and then sneak 5 minutes to write her own story. Because memories fade and the things children do and say are crazy enough and precious enough to keep forever.…mehr

Autorenporträt
Faye Lippitt is a former journalist who found her inspiration in the mayhem that enveloped their home as she and her husband raised their six children. The six arrived in eight years, twice arriving two by two, which made for interesting times. Her monthly column in a Canadian magazine, which was a series of snapshots of the loony times that are a part of any growing family, became the source that inspired her first book, "Sixteen Chickens On A Trampoline". The book is also about choices. As Faye puts it, when chaos rains, you have a choice. You can laugh, or you can cry. Laughter feels a whole lot better. It is her hope that busy moms will steal five minutes of the day to read one of the stories, and another five to write their own on the back pages. For time flies, and memories fade and the things children do and say are crazy enough and precious enough to keep forever. Faye and her husband Greg now live in Grand Cayman, and are blessed with enough grandchildren to keep the laughter coming.
