When a series of mysterious deaths hits his small town, and he connects the deaths to ancient coins found at the scenes, he enlists the help of Professor Richard Stanley. The two embark on a quest to find thirty cursed coins; however, their progress is hampered by two mysterious gray men, who turn out to be cursed themselves and are working to get the coins into a larger circulation for their own purposes.
