We can trust God, no matter how bad our circumstances may seem. God is with us in our suffering. He never leaves our side, and He promises that "all things work together for good to them that love God" (Romans 8:28 KJV).

Autorenporträt

Kelly is married and has three children. She has a teaching degree from Liberty University. Kelly received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. Life seemed like a smooth, easy ride until about seventeen years ago when she was diagnosed with epilepsy. During those seventeen years, Kelly was also diagnosed with major depressive disorder, religious ocd, and anxiety. Over the past three years, Kelly's seizures have severely increased in frequency. Things only seemed to be getting worse and worse. She wondered where God was. Was He punishing her? Did He still love her? Why wasn't He answering her cries for help? God has used Kelly's trials to teach her many things about suffering and about His character. He has brought her from a place of despair and discouragement to a place of peace and contentment. Kelly's desire is to share the things she's learned, in order that she might help bring comfort and encouragement to other believers who are suffering. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) says, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
