They are influenced by my life experiences, the Word of God, and my personal relationship with Jesus. Autorenporträt
Joe Hornsby did not start out wanting to be a writer. He had his heart set on being an oceanographer. He learned how to scuba dive, had multiple aquariums of saltwater fish, and went to college, majoring in oceanography. However, he did not study like he should have and eventually dropped out of college. After working various jobs, he went back to school and got an Associate's Degree in Architecture. Joe found that the job he was working as a millwork salesman, paid more than a drafting job. So, selling millwork products is how he currently provides for his family.

Joe has a beautiful family. He writes stories for his children and poems for his wife. He has read one of his stories at his granddaughter's classroom. He hopes his words will echo, long after he is gone, to remind his family how much he loves them.

Writing has been more of a hobby. He wrote short love poems to girls he dated. He tried writing country music songs, but couldn't sing a lick. Ten years ago, he went to a men's retreat offered by the church. After that experience, God touched Joe's heart and soul. Spiritual poems kept coming out of him. Every morning, Joe gets up long before sunrise and spends time with God by reading, writing, and praying. These poems are from his heart, mind, and soul.
