Autorenporträt
Bobbie Barton was born to write. It took quite a while for her to get started. Maybe that's a good thing. Living, learning, loving, losing, raising children, all were great ways of gathering life experiences to become foundations on which to base her stories. She grew up in Brooklyn. That in itself may wind up in a novel some day. She lived in Germany for an extended period, long enough to bear her first daughter. Back in America, she settled down on Long Island, New York, where she became a stay-at-home mom to three children and loved it. She has eclectic hobbies: fishing, theater, museums, traveling, reading, acting in little theater, etc. She traveled extensively later in life. Some of the sites were used as backdrops for her work. In retirement, she found the necessary time to begin writing as a hobby. She plans to live long and write as long as she lives. Friends encouraged her, and readers now reap the benefits. Her earlier novels are the following: -Acceptable Substitutes -An Unwelcome Intrusion -Costly Priorities -Awakened Bellydwellers -Misplaced Devotion -The Flights of the Bellydwellers
