Shirley Ann Baxter Winders grew up in Southern Indiana on a dairy farm owned by her parents, Donald L. and Opal L. Baxter, the oldest of three boys and three girls. Graduated from Ellettsville High School in 1961, studied at Indiana University, Manatee Junior College and Berean School of the Bible. Met my husband, Frederick O. Winders, Jr., and married in 1966; have two sons and one daughter, 5 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. She and her husband worked with Assembly of God youth groups in Indiana and Florida. Enjoy studying the Bible, also researching family history; which she published a book on her family, John L. Stephens Ancestors & Descendants 1690-2006 (with family recipes) in 2007. Retired after 25 years from Tropicana Products, PepsiCo and currently lives in Parrish, Florida with husband.
