Born and raised on Curaçao, Hymar Bloem has had a passion for storytelling since his teenage years. His stories were occasionally read by family members and classmates. As a young adult, he moved to The Hague, Netherlands to study. He's had many struggles over the years, especially in his career. His writing took a back seat until recently when the inspiration to write again struck him.

Hymar became a born-again Christian and has made a career in various government positions, currently in business operations. He enjoys reading, creating new ideas and stories, going to church and serving in the work of God, having good conversations with friends, being on the move, and teaching. He trusts he will grow and achieve more in his walk of faith.
