Autorenporträt
Alessandro Mantini was ordained a priest in 2009 and is incardinated in the Diocese of Rome. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering with specialization in Sensors and Robotics for Biomedical applications from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he then obtained an annual Master in Microstructure Engineering. At the same University he worked as a researcher and assistant at the chair of Sensors and Detectors and Solid State Electronic Devices, developing the first integrated Electronic Nose for biomedical and industrial applications. He also holds a degree and a PhD in Systematic Theology from the Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome, and a two-year first level Master in Science and Faith from the Ateneo Regina Apostolorum in Rome, and has attended several specialization courses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and their technical and ethical applications. At the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, he teaches "Theology" in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery; "Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology" in the Master's Degree course on Biotechnology for Personalized Medicine; "Stem Cells Research: an Anthropological Question" in the Master's Degree in Applied Biology and Innovations in Regenerative Medicine (Brescia); "Ethical aspects of the collection and processing of patient data" in the Master in Big Data. At the Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome he teaches "Eschatology" and "Science and Theology". He has numerous scientific and theological publications in international journals and book reviews on the subject.
