The author has envisaged a future in which history operates in reverse. Not in a day by day literal manner, with life winding back in an exact fashion, with old wars repeated, etc., but in a very general sense in terms of attitudes and circumstances in relation to politics, society and religion. The predictions for the next 200 years, using current technologies as a starting point, are thus made to conform with this self-imposed scenario, but in it is hoped a realistic manner, given the current trends in politics and society, and predictions for long term energy resources, for example.
