Ms Cheryl Ainsworth Martin is a public school educator. She teaches in the day, and she writes at night. Her parents were both principals and all nine of her siblings were teachers. She likes to celebrate birthdays in different ways. She believes that everyone is interested in their own birthdays, especially young children. She believes that family rituals can be a great source of fostering cultural traditions and family values. Ms Ainsworth Martin was born in Guyana and she currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. She is the mother of Shari, Nicole and Vanessa Marie Martin. She is also the grandmother of Troy, Trent and Triniti. She believes that everyone should make education their number one priority.
