The rest of the work has some particular voyages and travels arranged in systematic order, Geographical and Chronological, and studies voyages during the era of George III conducted upon scientific principles, by which the Geography of the globe has been nearly perfected.

Autorenporträt

Robert Kerr (1757-1813) was a Scottish surgeon, translator and writer on scientific and other subjects. After finishing medical school he began writing out of economical necessity, publishing a variety of minor works. His major work is a massive historical study entitled A General History and Collection of Voyages and Travels in eighteen volumes.
