Reinhard Lack wurde am 20. Juni 1963 in Gießen, Deutschland geboren. Nach der schulischen Ausbildung machte er eine Lehre zum Fliesenleger und diente in der Bundeswehr der US-amerikanischen Armee. Später machte er sich mit seinem eigenen Geschäft als Fliesenleger selbstständig. In seiner Freizeit spielt er gerne Fußball, kocht und angelt. Seit seiner Pensionierung verbringt er seine freien Stunden mit dem Schreiben. Reinhard Lack ist verheiratet, hat ein Kind und lebt heute in Hüttenberg, Deutschland.
