A deputy from Quayle County is dispatched to try to find and warn Sarah and Barlow because they haven't been in touch with Sarah's parents, and their exact whereabouts are unknown. It's a race against time in a lethal game of cat and mouse.

Before that he served in the armed forces.He and his wife have been married nearly fifty years. They reside in the South. They have one son, also a career law enforcement officer, and two grandchildren.This is the author's third foray into the world of writing fiction.
