self propelled wheelchair that was provided
following more than 7 months in hospital,
initially after awaking from surgery
to having no feeling from the waist down
it seemed timely to express as a conversation
to a distant relative in letter form.
It was the moment to reflect upon
the experiences of my extraordinary unfolding life.
As a post war babe from a humble suburban home
to exploring the sparkling icicle regions of northern parts
of Norway to beyond the southern most parts
of Tierra del Feugo of the Antarctic region.
This letter sharing with my fellow traveller
here on earth school some of my early growing pains,
marriage, moving to a rural area, raising family and later
adventures as we explored many countries of the world
are intermingled with an unfolding of an insatiable quest
for what felt to be Truth and the Love that is God.
