Shari Chappell was raised on a ranch outside of Davenport, a small town in eastern Washington. Even though she left for the big city, she never outgrew her roots. She successfully ran her own businesses and traveled extensively for twenty-seven years until she retired to Otis Orchards, Washington to pursue her lifelong ambition to write. She is too busy playing to take life seriously.
