A Little Moment of Kindness helps young children explore what it means to be kind to themselves and those around them.

Even at such a young age, children are learning to interact with other people in their lives, be it friends, grandparents or siblings. All the time they are observing how we treat each other, so the need to emphasise the kindness and patience is as valuable as it is necessary.

This beautifully illustrated book helps children think about what kindness means and it value in the world. Each illustration is placed alongside an inspirational thought which allows room for reflection and encouragement for children.

Designed to enjoy through individual reading or with an older family member, this series allow parents and grandparents to read alongside their young ones and share together in the experience of slowing-down, valuing stillness and thoughtfulness, and spending time in the company of family members and God.

Autorenporträt
Jenny grew up in the English Cotswolds and was encouraged by her father to hold a pencil even before a knife and fork, leading to an enjoyment of drawing on most surfaces, walls, floors and even a rather nice wooden storage chest in his study.  Her love of art came from him and he wisely provided Jenny with an endless supply of paper.   She now lives in Sussex with her husband and a quirky Labrador called Piper, in a house that is usually bursting at the seams with their grown-up children and friends.  She paints from her studio at the bottom of the garden, eternally distracted by birds, wild rabbits, moorhens and a particularly pesky heron. Despite her love of art since childhood, Jenny had no formal training and began her career as an actress, only returning to painting when her own children were at school.   Jenny is the illustrator of 7 books, including Miranda Hart’s book Peggy and Me, and Things my DaddyDoes by Paul Manwaring.
