Each author has a unique skill set to help protect the marine life in the Gulf of Mexico. M. H. Crawford is an animal care and rescue and rehabilitation specialist at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies. Dr. Mystera M. Samuelson is the lead research scientist, and Dr. P. Debra Moore, DVM, is one of the amazing veterinarians on staff at the institute.
