Jimmie Dale Burroughs graduated from Crichton College (now Victory University), Memphis, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he entered the pastoral ministry. After retirement from the pastorate, he owned and ran a construction company. In 2005, his first wife died from cancer. After her death, he bought a motor home and, over a few years, traveled to thirty-seven states doing volunteer mission work. Later, he believed his mission was writing, so for several years, he parked his motor home in Cedar Key, Florida, during the winter months and spent a good deal of time writing. He has written many articles on the website he developed where the majority of the articles focus on Christian Personal Development (www.JimmieBurroughs.com). However, the author felt that he needed to write new material for the book, "A New Self in Ninety Days." So, very little of the information from his website was used. A New Self in Ninety Days grew out of his own experience, personal research, books that he read on personal development, sermons preached, Bible studies, and, of course, the Bible. Jimmie and his wife, Margaret, live in the middle Tennessee. His hope and prayer are that the information in this book will be as helpful to you as it has been in his own life.
