When Melinda isn't chasing after her two young children, she enjoys both reading and writing Young Adult fiction and general science fiction. She has published several short stories and novellas on Smashwords and Kindle and is working on several full length YA novels. She gets her inspiration from her travels around Australia (which she calls home) and the world, and all the interesting characters she has met and places she had been.
