The second time she awakens, she is still strapped to the table but this time they produce instruments and chemicals to begin their tests.

Surprisingly the tests are not as horrific as she thought and through instrumentation and chemical therapy she experiences mentally and physically many things in her life she had dreamed of doing or seeing. When the tests conclude the aliens promise her that they plan to return her to Earth, and they will facilitate her achieving one of her biggest desires.
