The air grew heavy with a sense of unease as Rocky and Clementine cautiously approached the edge of the woods bordering Farmer McGregor's farm. The usual cheerful sounds of clucking hens and mooing cows were replaced by an unsettling silence, broken only by the nervous bleating of sheep.

"See? I told you something was wrong," Rocky whispered, his voice hushed for once. He peeked through the bushes, his eyes scanning the farmyard.

Clementine, usually so poised, felt a prickle of anxiety. The farm, usually a chaotic but familiar scene, seemed eerily deserted. "Where is everyone?" she murmured.

They crept closer, staying hidden in the shadows of the trees. As they reached the fence bordering the pig pen, they saw a sight that made their fur stand on end. The pen, usually teeming with playful piglets, was empty. The gate hung open, swinging ominously in the gentle breeze. Scattered around the pen were tiny pink toys a miniature tractor, a plush piglet, a half-eaten apple all abandoned in haste.

"Percy!" a small voice cried out.

Rocky and Clementine exchanged a startled glance. They looked around and spotted a small, trembling rabbit huddled beneath a wheelbarrow.

"What happened?" Rocky asked gently, approaching the rabbit cautiously.

The rabbit, its eyes wide with fear, stammered, "The... the foxes... they took Percy!"
