Doug Knight earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in English. He spent many years working with youth of all ages as a teacher, professor, and church youth leader in Indiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Doug Knight has authored two other fiction novels after publishing A River Bend, Through the Valley of the Shadow, and On Satan's Island.

Now, after three successful careers which includes teaching writing as one of them, Doug has published three novels. Doug Knight loves to write, read and tell stories. He also loves all kinds of music, several sports, watching old movies and dancing with his wife, Melissa. Doug is also grateful for a God who has helped him thrive in abundance of joy though experiencing life's hard challenges.
