Robert Kroese has had a root canal in Transylvania and plastic surgery in Budapest. He once jumped aboard a moving freight train. Another time he climbed halfway up the Y in the Hollywood sign, for which he was rewarded with poison oak over most of his body. He is the author of thirty-five novels, including this one. And it's pronounced KROO-zee, believe it or not.
