As an elementary school teacher, I taught for over 23 years. I first made this science fair workbook early on in my career as a response to all the after-hour phone calls and emails from parents who were a little overwhelmed about their child's science fair project. I took it upon myself to find a way of making the science fair project a lot less confusing for both the students and the parents. My goal was to make an easy-to-follow guide, like a recipe, with step-by-step instructions on how to plan, write, and create a science fair project. It was an immediate success! I've made numerous improvements upon this simple to follow workbook throughout my years of teaching and I am happy to report that the yearly science fair project is no longer thought of as an intimidating impending assignment. The science fair project has now become an enjoyable science experience for both the students and the parents, all because of this workbook. It is my hope that you too will benefit, in the same way as my previous students have done, from this workbook.
