Autorenporträt

Frank Mitchell lives in rural West Tennessee. He is the author of the two-volume work, The Story of Western Philosophy: The Rise and Fall and Return of Reason. He has a BA (1977) from the University of Memphis and an MA (1978) from the University of Chicago, where he was a student of the noted French philosopher Paul Ricoeur as well as of Stephen Toulmin, one of Ludwig Wittgenstein's most celebrated students. He is the father of three grown children and a proud grandfather of two.
