Autorenporträt
Jack K. Campbell was a packinghouse worker in Chicago, a petty officer in the U.S.Navy, and is Professor Emeritus in the College of Education, Texas A&M. He was a guide and an industrial engineer at Armours meat packing, served aboard the USS MACON in the Atlantic Fleet, and VU-1O in Cuba. He taught history and the history and philosophy of Education in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as in Texas. His major publications are THE CHILDRENS CRUSADER, the biography of Colonel Francis W. Parker, and GUANTANAMO REMEMBERED, a collection of short stories about sailors and airmen reminiscing at a reunion, mixing alcohol and recollections about their exploits during the Korean War.
