Lori Cameron recalls her journey from abuse and danger to a new life of faith and hope in this emotional memoir. Lori was born in Ireland to a hysterical and abusive alcoholic mother and a kind but an undemonstrative father. After a teen romance that blew apart, she married an older man, moved with him and her two boys to Canada. But her husband became perverse, forcing her into degrading sexual activity. This led her to become suicidal. Through the retelling of her life, Lori showcases strength and conviction, sharing these moments in an attempt to share with others how they too can come through events and find solace and strength within themselves.
